Self portrait plan

original idea

my idea for my self portrait involves using a base image of myself to create a distinct photo outline. a collection of quotes would then be used to fill this outline of the phot being made of quotes. the quotes would be from my favourite games, theatre, poetry, music and media.

 This photo was used as the base for my self-portrait, sections of the image where outlined to keep the important features of the image making it a simplistic image. Alongside this, a document was being created with a long list of quotes sorted by title.

Editing


To stop the image looking overcrowded, certain aspects on the image were coloured in, this where colours that specifically stood out to bring more block colour to the image due to the white space among the quotes. the list of quotes was then edited to show them in a random order.


The quotes were then organised into a long list, mixing together the different titles, sections of this list would then be copied into a layer on photoshop and coloured to create the different outlined sections. these were the built up to create the final image.
