My Self-Portrait Evaluation My self-portrait is based on a photo taken of me and my dog at burgh castle roman fort. The outline of this image has then been used to fill in the different sections using quotes from music, theatre, films, games and poetry that I enjoy. I’m happy with the outline seen in the final image, it is accurate and clearly shows the parts of the picture as well as creating a clear image. I'm also happy with the words and how they fit the image, I like how the different fonts sizes give better shape and stop the image looking crowded and messy. this is also helped by the block colours used within the image, this minimised the white space that could have affected the overall image, the block colours also help to make the full image clearer as well as helping the overall look of the picture, I’m happy with the parts chosen to be in full colour and not quotes. if I was to improve the self-portrait, I would edit the adjacent colours to make the different par...

original idea my idea for my self portrait involves using a base image of myself to create a distinct photo outline. a collection of quotes would then be used to fill this outline of the phot being made of quotes. the quotes would be from my favourite games, theatre, poetry, music and media. the outline This photo was used as the base for my self-portrait, sections of the image where outlined to keep the important features of the image making it a simplistic image. Alongside this, a document was being created with a long list of quotes sorted by title. Editing To stop the image looking overcrowded, certain aspects on the image were coloured in, this where colours that specifically stood out to bring more block colour to the image due to the white space among the quotes. the list of quotes was then edited to show them in a random order. The quotes were then organised into a long list, mixing together the different titles, sections of this list would then be copied...
